Threading Building Blocks integration where io_service uses tasks instead of a thread pool.

ACE-like WFMO reactor as the backend for Win9x and WinCE? (especially for WinCE? ) - this will bring serial port and file support to those platforms too (also I think it is more preferred IO method for those platforms). Full featered ASIO could make it very popular for WinCE? software development (GPS navigation, remote controlled WinCE? based systems)

Serial port device name: WinCE? - switch off std::string in favour of std::wstring (WinCE? does not support ANSI API calls), WinNT? - support for std::wstring (as UTF-16 API calls are preferred at WinNT? )
